Cancellation, late rescheduling and No Show Policy: 

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the Beauty Therapists day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling to your appointment. Clients that provide less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment as a cancellation fee, which must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment otherwise all following appointments will be cancelled and unable to be rebooked until the fee is paid. Any appointment cancelled, or rescheduled on the day of the scheduled appointment or if you fail to attend your scheduled appointment the full amount for the scheduled appointment fee will be charged, which must be paid prior to you next scheduled appointment otherwise all following appointments will be cancelled and unable to be rebooked until the fee is paid.

A one-time allowance for late cancellation or rescheduling will be permitted for any reason. After that, regardless of the situation the cancellation, late rescheduling and no show policy will be placed into effect and fees charged accordingly.

Arrival time:

Please aim to arrive 5-10 mins before your scheduled appointment. If you are receiving eyelash extensions you are required to have clean makeup free eyes and lashes, extra time spent cleaning your lashes will mean less time lashing. If you are not on time for your appointment or arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it will not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service. If your service is shortened due to your late arrival you will still be charged the full cost of the service.

Refund Policy: 

You are paying for the Beauty Therapists time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact Ora - Body & Soul on 0422011634 within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 min appointment, if it is the fault of the application  or product. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you fail to follow the proper aftercare and instructions you will be charged at full price for the service.

 

Waiver of Liability: 

Eyelash Extensions Application and Removal;

Please understand there are risks associated with having artificial eyelashes applied to and/or removed from my existing eyelashes, your Beauty Therapist will discuss these with you, and that notwithstanding the utmost of care in the application or removal of these products, there still exist risks associated with the procedure and product itself, which include, without limitation, eye irritation, eye pain, discomfort etc when applied in the usual manner. 

If you experience any irritation, redness, puffiness, itchiness, an allergic reaction or any other side effect of this procedure, you will contact a medical doctor immediately. 

As part of this procedure, you understand that a certain amount of eyelash adhesive material will be used to attach the artificial eyelashes to your existing eyelashes. Even though the Beauty Therapist may apply or remove my eyelash extensions in the usual manner, some adhesive material may become dislodged during or after the procedure, which may irritate your eyes or require further follow-up care, at your own expense to prevent damage to your eyes. You also understand there is more than one technique for applying and removing eyelash extensions to eyelashes, and you will not attribute any liability to Ora - Body & Soul and the Beauty Therapist as a result of this procedure or the use and care of these lashes. 

As part of the removal procedure, you understand that a certain amount of chemical adhesive remover may be applied to existing adhesives and a reaction occurs to dissolve the adhesive that results in the thinning of the remover. Even though the Beauty Therapist will apply or remove your eyelash extensions in the usual manner, you understand the liquid remover may seep into your eyes, which may irritate your eyes or require further follow-up care, at your own expense to prevent damage to your eyes. 

You also agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ora - Body & Soul and the Beauty Therapist from any and all claims, actions, expenses, damages and liabilities, including reasonable legal fees which might be asserted against her as a result of you having any beauty procedure performed, or your purchase of eyelash extension and/or any beauty products from Ora - Body & Soul.

Sickness or Family Emergency: 

If you, or another person in your household, have an infectious or contagious illness, please contact Ora - Body & Soul on 0422011634 as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not attend your appointment sick. If, on arrival, it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again.  A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.

  

Other Beauty Therapist Work: 

If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension training, certifications and regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at Ora - Body & Soul, our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for an infill from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate removal and full set price. This will be discussed and fully explained to you prior to any service being performed.
